Fill Valve
Controls liquid dextrose INTO crystallizer
Function: Opens to allow hot liquid dextrose to fill the crystallizer vessel. Spring-return ensures automatic closure on air loss.

Drop / Discharge Valve
Releases crystals FROM crystallizer
Function: Opens to discharge crystallized dextrose from the bottom of the vessel. Double-acting actuator ensures positive sealing under product weight.

Divert / Forward Valve
Routes dextrose to different crystallizers
Function: Three-way valve directs liquid dextrose to Crystallizer A or B based on production schedule or maintenance needs.

Control Valve
Precisely controls flow rate
Function: Throttles dextrose flow rate based on PLC commands. I/P positioner converts 4–20mA signal to air pressure for precise positioning.

Outlet / Isolation Valve
Manual shutoff for maintenance
Function: Manual ball valve provides positive isolation for maintenance. Fully open during operation, closed and locked out during repairs (LOTO).
